National Conference of State Legislatures updating the Statues on industrial Hemp

Due to the new Farm Bill of 2018 Hemp is now legal, though each state has different stances on the use, cultivation and sale of Hemp. The NCSL website is not a place to seek legal advice or assistance, however they do have the latest information state-by-state that can prove to be a useful first-stop on your journey researching Hemp and the very popular CBD oil that is extracted from the cannabis plant.

Now Published on the State legislatures website http://www.ncsl.org/ you can find information about state licensed industrial hemp programs. Not all states have adopted the new Farm Bill yet, but 3/4 of all state offer farmers to grow under licensing industrial hemp. This site give a clear overview of definitions, regulations, and seed certification by state.
